Westco Grounds Maintenance (“Westco”), a portfolio company of Altos Partners (“Altos”) and Gemini Investors (“Gemini”), announced the recent acquisition of Cornerstone Maintenance and Landscaping (“Cornerstone”). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Cornerstone was founded in 1997 and provides landscape design, installation, maintenance, irrigation, lighting, and hardscape services to commercial and municipal clients in Houston.

“We are excited about the addition of Cornerstone to the Westco platform” stated Manny González, Westco’s CEO. “We originally set out to expand across the greater Houston market and are thrilled to have taken the next step by acquiring Cornerstone. This strategic acquisition will allow Westco to leverage its infrastructure to service its client base across all of Houston in a more efficient and high- quality manner.”

Westco Holding Company was later rebranded Ethoscapes.

Westco Holding Company was acquired through the work of Stenning Schueppert while at Altos Partners, and now owned by Evolution Strategy Partners where Schueppert is the Managing Partner.
